AI Usage Notice

1. Where AI appears

• Rewriting and tailoring your résumé to a specific role.
• Drafting cover letters.
• Drafting outreach messages to people in your network.
• Explaining why a vacancy fits your profile.

2. What AI does

AI adjusts tone and gives narrative shape to the evidence you have already provided. It reframes your experience for a specific opportunity; it does not create new experience.

3. What AI will never do

• Never invents employers, titles, dates, metrics, or achievements.
• Never sends emails, messages, or applications on your behalf.
• Never contacts anyone or applies to jobs automatically.
• Never publishes or shares your content without your action.
• Never makes a decision with legal effects about you.

4. Factual integrity by design

Suggestions are anchored to the evidence you provide, with provenance and a confidence level. The system caps confidence in code, not by trusting a prompt, to reduce the risk of unsupported claims.

5. The human decides

Nothing is sent or published on your behalf. Every artifact passes through your explicit approval. You review, edit, and decide what to use and when to send it from your own channels.

6. Model providers

We route generation requests through OpenRouter, which directs them to LLM inference providers. We send only the context needed for the task. See the sub-processor list and the Privacy Policy.

7. Accuracy and your responsibility

AI suggestions can contain errors or inaccuracies. You must review all facts, dates, claims, and wording before using or submitting any material. You are responsible for what you send.

8. No automated decisions about you

We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you. AI is a drafting tool under your control.

If a suggestion looks wrong, biased, or inappropriate, tell us at support@knownroute.com and we will review it.
