Cookie Policy

Effective: 2026-09-11Version: 2026-09-05:formation

How Knownroute uses cookies and local storage, and how you control your preferences. This policy supplements the Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a site stores on your device; local storage is a similar browser technology. They let the service work, remember your settings, and — if you consent — measure usage.

2. Categories

  • Necessary — session, security, load balancing, and storing your consent choice itself. Always on; no consent needed.
  • Analytics — help us understand, in aggregate, how the service is used. Optional.
  • Preference — remember settings such as language. Optional.
  • Marketing — campaign measurement. Optional.

3. No loading before consent

We load no optional cookie or script (analytics, preference, or marketing) before you actively choose. There is currently no optional script wired at all; if one is added, it will only activate after your consent.

4. Your control

You can accept all, reject non-essential, or configure by category from the consent panel. Reopen it any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer and withdraw consent at any time. Your choice is stored with a version; if the purposes change, we ask again.

5. Browser controls

You can also manage or delete cookies from your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of the service from working.

6. Privacy signals

We respect browser privacy signals where applicable. Because we do not load optional cookies without your consent, your default state is already the most protective.

7. Changes and contact

We may update this policy if the technologies we use change. Questions about cookies: privacy@knownroute.com.
